Ingredients:

150 milliliters warm milk

7 grams instant yeast

15 grams flour (for yeast)

20 grams softened butter

1 egg

15 grams sugar

330 grams flour

Instructions:

1· Activate Yeast: Combine warm milk, yeast, and 15 g of flour· Let sit 6 to 12 minutes until foamy·

2· Knead Dough: Stir remaining flour, sugar, butter, egg, and yeast mixture together and knead until smooth·

3· First Rise: Put the dough in a greased bowl and cover; allow to rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size·

4· Shape and Second Rise: Shape the dough into balls or braid and put it into a pan; cover and let raise for 30-40 minutes·

5· Bake: Preheat oven to 180 degrees Centigrade/350 degrees Fahrenheit· Brush with egg wash, bake for 20-25 minutes till golden·
