Ingredients

1½ cups warm water
2 tablespoons dry yeast
4 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1·Activating the Yeast- Add the warm water and dry yeast to a large bowl, stir gently, and let it sit for about 6 minutes or until foamy·

2·Combining Ingredients- In the mixing bowl, add all of the flour and salt to the yeast mixture· Mix with your hands or spoon until it forms a rough dough·

3·Kneading the Dough- Put the dough on a lightly floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes, or until smooth and elastic·

4·Leaving it to Rise- Put the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it sit from 1 to 1h55 minutes until doubled·

5·Shaping and Preheating- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C)· Punch the dough down and shape it into a loaf or place it in a greased bread pan·

6·Baking- Bake for 26-32 minutes or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped·

7·Cooling and Enjoying- Cool the bread on a wire rack before slicing·
