This White Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Ingredients:
- 2-3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- A pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

2. Prepare the Batter:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas and melted butter.
- Mix in sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the mixture, then gently stir in flour until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Fold in white chocolate chips and chopped walnuts (if using).

3. Bake:
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- If the top browns too quickly, cover it loosely with aluminum foil.

4. Cool and Serve:
- Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
