Ingredients:
- 2 pounds of chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon of paprika
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon of onion powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of pepper
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup of hot sauce
Instructions:
1. Preheat your grill for indirect heat, creating a cooler and a hotter side.
2. In a small bowl, combine the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Place the chicken wings in a large bowl and sprinkle the spice mixture over them, tossing to ensure they are evenly coated.
4. Place the chicken wings on the cooler side of the grill and smoke them for 1 hour, or until they are cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
5. In another small bowl, mix the melted butter with the hot sauce.
6. Brush the wings with the butter mixture and move them to the hotter side of the grill. Grill for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until they are crispy and caramelized.
7. Remove the wings from the grill and serve hot, accompanied by your preferred dipping sauces or sides.
