Directions:
1. Season the Sour Cream:
- In a bowl, combine the sour cream with ground cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well and set aside.
2. Layer the Ingredients:
- Begin with a 9x13 inch dish. Spread the refried beans (or cooked ground beef) evenly across the bottom of the dish to form the first layer.
- Add the seasoned sour cream over the beans or beef, spreading it evenly to create the second layer.
- Pour the salsa over the sour cream and gently spread it to form the third layer.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top of the salsa to create the fourth layer.
- Layer the shredded lettuce on top of the cheese, followed by the diced tomatoes for the fifth and sixth layers.
- Finish with the sliced black olives and chopped green onions as the final, seventh layer.
