Ingredients:
- 500 g of wheat flour
- 250 ml of milk
- 50 g of butter
- 50 g of sugar
- 12 g fresh yeast
Method:
1. Mix the Ingredients: In a bowl, combine the wheat flour, sugar, and fresh yeast. Warm the milk slightly and add it to the dry ingredients along with the softened butter.
2. Knead the Dough: Mix the ingredients until they form a dough. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
3. First Rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours, or until it has doubled in size.
4. Shape the Bread: Once risen, punch the dough down to release the air. Shape the dough into a loaf or desired shapes and place it into a greased bread tin or on a baking sheet.
5. Second Rise: Cover the dough again and let it rise for another 30-60 minutes.
6. Bake: Preheat your oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F). Bake the bread for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
7. Cool:Allow the bread to cool on a wire rack before slicing.
