2 tbsp of Olive oil

Salt and pepper to appetitie.

1 pound of ground lean beef.

One onion, finely diced.

2 teaspoons of minced garlic.

4 cups of shredded large green cabbage.

Two peeled, halved and sliced carrots.

4 cups of beef broth.

Three cans of tomato sauce (8 oz or about).

1/2 cup of uncooked long grain white rice.

1 bay leaf.

3 tbsp of brown sugar.

2 tbsp of parsley for garnishing.

Instructions

Ground Beef is Unitng: In a medium hot pot, pour in some olive oil. Season with salt and pepper if you prefer, with ground beef in the bottom of the pot. Use a spatula for mincing meat and brown it. This is typically a 4-5 minutes process.

Include the fragrant components: Add the onions and garlic. Allow them to cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.

Include Ingredients: Pour in your green sliced cabbage, carrots, tomato paste, uncooked rice, bay leave, and brown sugar and beef broth. Go ahead and add more salt and pepper to taste if you wish to.

Let it braise: Allow the soup to reach a simmer. Cover and let it cook for around 20-25 minutes or until the rice has cooked through.

Final Touch: Then finally remove the bay leaf. Rest the soup with fresh parsley
