- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

Directions:
1. Soak the chicken pieces in buttermilk for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
3. Remove the chicken from the buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture, ensuring it's fully coated.
4. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (199°C). Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
5. Place the chicken pieces in the basket, making sure not to overcrowd. Spray the chicken lightly with cooking spray.
6. Cook for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
