For the Caramel Glaze:
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions:
Prepare the Banana Bread:
1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, mixing until just combined. If using, fold in the chopped walnuts.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
6. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
